VINFAST is expanding its Philippine dealer network after signing agreements with 13 local dealer groups for the development of 27 new showrooms across the country.
The new outlets will be located across Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao as the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer works toward its target of having 60 dealerships in the Philippines by the end of 2026.
The expansion will cover major markets including Metro Manila and Cebu, while also bringing the brand into areas such as Cagayan de Oro, Tacloban, and Subic Bay.
VinFast said the new showrooms will handle vehicle sales and after-sales services, and will be built according to the company’s global retail standards.
The 13 dealer partners are Elite North Auto Cars Inc., MG Gateway Mantrade Corp., Grand Canyon Multi Holdings Inc., Britannica United Motors Inc., VF Auto Sto. Tomas Inc., GR8 Marketing Motors Inc., Arcma Motors Corp., Autonomics Motor Corp., Gershom Car Trading Corp., Areza Motor Sales Inc., Central Auto Resources Inc., Autolink Global Motors Inc., and Greenport Mobility Inc.
Several of the groups already operate dealerships for other automotive brands in the Philippines, giving VinFast access to established local networks and existing retail experience.
Antonio Zara, CEO of VinFast Southeast Asia, said the Philippines remains an important part of the company’s regional growth plans.
“The Philippines is one of the key markets in VinFast’s long-term growth strategy in the region and globally,” Zara said.
He added that the company is looking beyond vehicle sales and is also investing in services, infrastructure, and other parts of the EV ownership ecosystem.
Aside from expanding its dealer network, VinFast has been building its after-sales presence and charging network in the country with the help of V-Green and local partners.
The company currently offers a range of battery electric vehicles in the Philippine market and has been steadily increasing its local presence since entering the country.
The addition of 27 showrooms would significantly widen VinFast’s retail footprint and support its stated goal of reaching 60 dealerships nationwide within the year.
